(Omaha, NE, June 24, 2005) - Kevin O'Malley, executive vice president and CFO of Travel and Transport, Inc., was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Omaha Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. “I have made this commitment not only to help raise funds toward a cure, but also to help raise awareness in our community about CF and the strides currently being made toward a cure,” said O’Malley.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to assure the development of the means to cure and control CF and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. It funds medical research and care programs that are improving the length and quality of life for people with CF.
