(Omaha, NE, January 2, 2008) – RADIUS Travel and Transport today announced the acquisition of Abacus Travel, Inc. headquartered in the Greater Boston area with office locations in Peabody, MA, Plainville, MA, Worcester, MA and Manchester, NH.

Abacus Travel was founded in 1985 and is a leading corporate travel management company servicing more than 450 businesses in the U.S. As a $100 million company, their 100 employees are exclusively focused on business travel growth and are dedicated to one-on-one traveler service and a commitment to achieving 100% client satisfaction. In a joint statement, Marla Huntley, President of Abacus Travel and Allan Huntley, CEO said, “For over 20 years, we have watched our company grow through developing client relationships that truly set us apart in the market place. For over five years, RADIUS Travel and Transport has developed corporate partnerships with many notable clients in the Boston market. RADIUS Travel and Transport will make the acquisition a virtually seamless process for Abacus Travel. At the completion of the acquisition, Abacus Travel will assume the Travel and Transport name.
